Denzel is a sweet black male about a year old. He was a stray that was getting beat up in the neighborhood he was trying to live in. He has scars on his head and neck from these fights. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and IS FIV POSITIVE. Fiv positive cats can live long healthy lives, just like any other cat, as long as they are kept indoors only and have regular vet checkups. FIV is transmitted by deep puncture wounds from one cat to another. It CAN NOT be transfered to humans or dogs. Denzel loves people and kids. Please consider giving him a loving home, you won’t regret it. He is a GREAT cat!
Baby is a former feral kitten who has been living indoors for six months. He is now an adult, approximately one year old, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated and ready to go to a very special home. Whoever adopts him must have experience with cats and must be willing to give Baby lots of time to adjust to his new home. He does not like to be picked up but loves to be patted. Baby gets along well with other cats and is especially attached to ‘Mommy’ who raised him the first six months of his life. Mommy is up for adoption as well and Baby would love to go to his new home with her.
Moose is about three years old. He was an abandoned kitty that looks like he’s lived a pretty hard life. One ear has some scarring on it, and he has an eye that was scratched pretty good. He looks much better than he did, but still needs drops in his eye. It is a bit runny, but is slowly healing. Moose is a great cat. He is very sweet, considering what he must have gone through out there on his own. He likes to talk to you and be petted near his head.
Papina is about a year old. She is a feral kitten that is now semi-feral. If she is in her crate, you can pet her. If you let her out of the crate, forget it, you won’t be able to catch her. Anyone interested in Papina MUST have experience with cats and understand that she is going to need time and patience. We are working very hard to help her adjust. Papina is being fostered in Walden.
