In 1996, several concerned, animal loving citizens founded Caledonia Animal Rescue. We are an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff. Back then, as well as today, we were appalled by the all too common cases of animal abuse and neglect and decided to try to make a difference; primarily through public education. Board members and friends of C.A.RE. meet every month to share ideas on possible future projects as well as ways to improve and expand upon existing programs.
