Over 100 coupons were given out and, to date, fifty-four have been redeemed. Meaning fifty-four pets will live a happier healthier life without adding to the problem of cat and dog overpopulation! Thank you to all of those who cared enough to have your pet spayed or neutered and all of those who donate their time and/or money to make it happen!

THANK YOU ALL for HELPING STANLEY! The fundraising event at THE RATHSKELLER in Colchester was great fun and a giant success. The day was just perfect to bring the event out doors. The guest of Honor - Stanley - was there to meet all his fans! Food, Good Company and lots of great Prizes helped round out the excitement! The Grand Prize winner, from Essex Junction Vermont, left with a $1,000.00 cash prize from the drawing! And Stanley & SOS, Save Our Strays were thrilled too! We are happy to announce that because of your showing of support, Stanley’s veterinary bills are no longer a worry! Your compassion is overwhelming and we truly appreciate your kindness.
Again, thanks to everyone who supported the event: the volunteers, those of you who bought tickets, those of you who came out to support us, all who those donated toward the cause, the local businesses who donated the great prizes and to the Rathskeller who hosted the event! We could not have made this a success without you. And big “Doggie-Kisses” from Stanley too!

PLEASE HELP US, HELP STANLEY!
What we are doing:
Up-coming Fundraiser to benefit SOS, Save Our Strays
We are attempting to raise some money for our on going veterinary expenses. Here is your chance to show your support as well as enjoy an afternoon out! The main recipient of the benefit will be Stanley, a 10 year old, blind, Cocker Mix. He was found in a mechanics shed in 6 inches of poop. His poor companion was frozen to death and pronounced dead at the time animal control officer was made aware of the situation. The “humane societies” refused to “in take” Stanley due to his age and costs of treating his neglect. We took him in knowing that his medical treatment may well exceed $1,200.00 before he can be placed in a new caring forever home.
