Please, please, please read the article under Helpful Links (left hand column) titled ‘ALL ABOUT FIV’ . FIV cats can live long, normal lives with proper care. Many vets are not up to date on FIV information and sometimes this scares people away from giving these amazing cats a good home. All of our FIV cats have been fostered by one of our board members. They share the same space with non-fiv cats, and there has never been an issue. Please consider adopting one of these wonderful animals.
Minerva is about five years old. She is one of our FIV cats. She is a sweet, loveable kitty that needs an experienced cat person to adopt her. She is very shy and nervous and will probably run and hide in a new environment. She loves attention and is now starting to seek it out. She is a great cat, but needs someone with patience that will allow her time to blossom in a new home.
We are no longer operating as an animal shelter. We do however, still have some great kitties up for adoption. I will be posting pics soon.
